Lessons Learned

 

Scene Study: Students will analyze a scene by asking specific questions to help them understand the context and subtext, identify beat changes in a scene, and understand the characters they play on a deeper level.

 

Vocal Expression: Students will learn techniques that will help create vocal variety.

 

Physical Expression: Students will learn how to listen and react with their bodies when they have dialogue and when there is no dialogue. They will learn how to make bold and creative choices with their bodies that will help express their characters' feelings.

 

Audition Prep & On-Camera Training: Students will learn the purpose of an audition, techniques to alleviate anxiety, how to prepare for an audition, what casting expects from auditioners, and how to perform on camera with the instructor's critiques.
