Dominique Becton Film & Acting Academy is a registered 501(c)3 not-for-profit charitable organization that relies on the financial support of individuals, corporations, and foundations to achieve its mission to make acting and filmmaking a meaningful experience for both kids & adults. Our acting students not only learn acting techniques and tips to help them book auditions, they are also featured in the academy-produced short films that we premiere at local movie theaters where the public is invited to participate in our DBFAA Premiere Night & Red Carpet event. We also submit our films to film festivals and our students receive IMDB credit. 

Our filmmaking and video editing students have the chance to work on set with industry professionals and also participate in creating and editing actual films. They also receive IMDB credit for their on-set participation.

 

All donations will go toward DBFAA expenses including; location rent, phone service, production cost(cost incurred while producing student films), computers, printers, printer ink, printing paper, camera equipment, lighting equipment, subscriptions for computer software, and office supplies.
