
Intro to Filmmaking For Kids
Ages: 10-13
Days/Times:
Tuesdays: 6pm - 7:30pm
Thursdays 6pm - 7:30am
Prerequisite: None
In this class, students will learn the basic fundamentals of how movies and commercials are made. They will explore various types of films and tv shows, camera and sound equipment, etc.
This course will include:

The various departments involved in a production

Learn the basic roles and responsibilities for each department

The preproduction process

What to expect during the filming process

The post-production process

Camera basics
-
Film and lighting equipment

The editing process
Students will learn by being hands-on and will end the session by working alongside industry professionals to produce a student film and/or commercials which will be premiered at a movie theater for friends and family to enjoy.
