Intro to Filmmaking For Teens

Ages: 14-17

Days/Times:

Mondays: 6pm - 7:30pm

Wednesdays 6pm - 7:30pm

Prerequisite: None

In this class, students will learn the basic fundamentals of how movies and commercials are made and course material will cover the following:

 

  • The various departments involved in a production

  • Learn the basic roles and responsibilities for each department  

  • The preproduction process

  • What to expect during the production process

  • The post-production process

  • Camera basics

  • Film equipment

  • The editing process

 

In this course students will learn by being hands-on and will have a chance to complete the course by working on an actual student project with fellow peers which will be premiered at a movie theater for friends and family to enjoy.

COST: $500 for 8 week session or 62.50/wk
